Puma Sea Hunter No.6363 Date Stamp 41371 (Q1. 1973) with Leather Sheath

Puma re-designed the standard Fishing knife to create the go-to ultimate tool for the Sea Fisherman.

The blade is drop forged and hand finished to Puma’s exacting standards. The blade is 16.5cm with an overall length of 28.5cm.

There are a plethera of cutting and work edges on the blade; On the spine towards the tip, a flat heavy surface for cracking crustacia and use as a priest. The fine serrations on the tip make for easy work on slippery fish skin followed by the slicing action on the main blade. The strong short edge of the spine is ideal for chpping bait keeping the slicing blade for precision work. The back of the cutting edge is a sharply serrated saw and is designed for fins and bones.

The positive finger guard is made doubly secure with the addition of a grooved thumb rise for a very firm grip, coupled with the slip resistant solid rubber handle, making the knife comfortable to work with.

The hole at the end of the handle is ideal for fixing a lanyard to and the knife comes with its original friction fit sheath designed to be waterproof and built to release the knife quickly. The sheath is fitted with a riveted belt loop stamped ‘Made In Germany’

This is a Pre-owned knife and shows no sign of use or sharpening. This would make an ideal addition to the fishing kit.
