This knife is an original Ethan Becker Camillus Combat Utility tool.
This rare classic Becker BK-9 was released in 2002. The BK-9 was made for American soldiers serving in demanding environments overseas. This tmeless knife is based upon th Mark-II Fighting Knife that Camillus Cutlery helped develop during the Second World War.
The Combat Utility 7 has a full tang 7″ 0170-6C carbon tool steel blade, tough enough for any field task and is a flat ground to a shaving sharp edge. The steel is coated with a matte black powdercoat finish for protection against the elements. The blade is 5mm thick with a clip point, perfect for piercing, prying and chopping and has been hardened to 58-59 RC.. The hammering pommel has been engineered into the blade tang and is useful for a variety of military and survival uses.
The Steel is non-brittle cutting steel, very easily sharpened and holds an edge.
The ergonomic handles are made from Becker’s trademark GV6H thermoplastic an extremely tough glass-filled nylon made in Switzerland.
Knife comes with the original Nylon Cordura sheath, box and paperwork. Both sheath and knife were made in the U.S.A.
A pre-owned knife in as new condition, never sharpened or used.
