Howard Hitchmough was born in London. He became a surgical instrument maker, and soon found that he had a keen interest in making hunting knives of all types. Howard started producing folding knives and this fuelled another interest, a fascination with mechanisms. Howard began to visit the USA and attended many knife shows. He decided to move to the states in 1997, moving to New Hampshire, and building a state of the art workshop.
Howard is now listed on Knife Legends.com, primarily for his stunning workmanship on the intricate designs of his folding knives that hold value into the thousands of dollars.
