Multi-Coloured glass mannequin eye – dome shaped

Description

Hand painted dome shaped Doll or Mannequin eyes that can also be used in figurine work. 

This is a robust eye and can be used where mechanical or puppet movement is required. This eye lends its self to being fixed in a solid position or having armatures fixed to the back of them to allow for movement.   

This is a hand painted glass mannequin eye. It is a great alternative to the fully spherical hollow blown mannequin eye. This eye is supplied without veining and has a pure white sclera. These eyes are coloured by hand and are sold in pairs.

The diameter of the eye is measured at the widest point and is accurate to +/- 2% as a general estimate.

Fixing

Eyes of all kinds can be fitted in many different ways. If the eye is to be fitted into a wood substrate (stick making, carving or similar) then a glue such as a two-part epoxy glue can be used. If something with a bit more body is required clay can be used or an epoxy putty can be used such as Apoxie Sculpt.
