Description
This is a British sheath knife with a 3 3/4 inch cutting edge. The makers mark shows the makers details as F. W. James, Sheffield. It has very traditional Stag antler scales. The knife is a full tang construction with brass liners separating the scales from the Tang and a very nice detail. The brass finger guard is a fully formed guard with additional file work which just enhances this British made sheath knife.
The hand forged blade is marked as such and appears to be unused and unsharpened. The blade has file work applied to the spine and choil. A hunting scene has also been engraved on one side of the blade, depicting a sight hound chasing its quarry.
