Tony Jones handmade knives offer something different. A British knife maker who was based in Devon during the early part of his career.
Much of Tony’s work is of his own design or as an interpretation of his customers design. His early work was either produced in 440 stainless or D2. This knife shows a fairly flat grind blade with file work to just over 50% of the spine of the blade. The file work continues for the length of the tang and even around the but of the handle. Detailed hand engraved bolsters and but plates/pommel. The full tang blade has slabs of shaped micarta either side of the tang to create the most tactile handle.
The blade Length is 115 mm long with an overall length of 245 mm. The detailed hand engraving on the bolsters and pommel is simply stunning and not something that is common.
